About Me

I'm a nationally certified Sign Language Interpreter based in Washington DC. A Gallaudet Alum, I received my Master of Arts degree in Interpretation and Translation with commendations and a May 2021 recipient of the Ron Coffey Award. I am a member of several service organizations including the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), the Potomac Chapter of RID (PCRID), and the National Association of Black Interpreters (NAOBI). I have served in many capacities with NAOBI-Detroit and NAOBI-DC chapters. My serving roles include corresponding secretary (NAOBI-Detroit), secretary and publications chair (NAOBI-DC), and current Chapter Liaison (NAOBI-DC).
